I am interested in this for my son's cholesterol, but he was a kidney donor and has only one kidney. Am I correct in thinking drinking lots of tea would not be good for his kidney?

thanks

I have osteoarthritus and have been walking a lot ( 10 miles a day, 6 days a week) as well as working 40 hrs week. Now I am scheduled to get a knee joint replacement...I will be reduced to 30 minutes every 3 day...right now I am finding it is not enough but I suppose the joint won't last long if I walk 10 miles a day again. I feel better when I walk...my blood pressure and blood sugar as well.

I remember a friend saying to me that Orange juice is best drunk inside 10 minutes of making it. I assume that is because the vitamin C degrades after that. Which means taking commercial OJ is not beneficial for Vitamin C. It gives a quick sugar hit, faster than eating an orange itself.

HI SHELLY,

I am happy with advise u give us but I prefer to eat natural supplements and my diabetic status has reduced remarkably. But I still woner why our governments let supplements that are not good quality to circulate without finding measures of testing them.In Africa we dont really have good quality and quality as u know is very expensive and not all can afford. Thanks

Of all the responses, I have liked Robert Smith's the most! The idea of being able to give up Diabetes and B.P. medicine is really appealing. Not only will it save my body from damage due to side effects of the meds, it will also be a relief to my wallet, as these pills are all really expensive.
So Robert, will you plz elaborate more on what you exactly did and didn't do - and your detailed diet plan? Also your age when u got on the diet...
